The Western Regional Training Centre for Health Services Research (WRTC) is an innovative and collaborative initiative that supports the training of applied health services researchers across disciplines, sectors, and institutions, equipping them to address the research needs of a wide range of health care policy and decision-makers.
The WRTC is based at six universities in western Canada: University of Alberta (UA), University of British Columbia (UBC), University of Calgary (UC), University of Manitoba (UM), University of Regina (UR), and University of Saskatchewan (US). Graduate students (Masters or PhD) may participate in the program as full students or as affiliate students.
