Academic Partners

While the WRTC principally attracts students from the academic units outlined in Our Centre, a large number of students from other academic disciplines and institutions also participate in the program as affiliate students.

Affiliate students are enrolled in a wide variety of graduate academic programs outside the core health services and related academic units. Some examples of these disciplinary areas include:

• business administration
• communications
• economics
• forestry
• occupational therapy
• public administration
• sociology
• women’s studies

Affiliate students can be registered at any of the six universities, or they may also be registered at any other university in western Canada (e.g., at Simon Fraser University, University of British Columbia Okanagan, University of Victoria, University of Northern British Columbia).
